On behalf of the Anglian Mini Club we would like to invite you to the IMM2004 (international mini meeting), which is being held
20th -23rd August 2004 at the Norfolk Showground. You will see from the attached booking form entrance is £35.00 per person for the weekend. If you haven't attended an IMM before I have attached a brief description of what it is.

Some of you many have already booked and received your booking confirmation cards if so please pass this on to anyone who may be interested, but I didn't want to miss anyone out.

Booking closes in February so book now to avoid disappointment.

The International Mini Meeting is held once a year, and Mini lovers & enthusiasts from all over Europe gather for a long weekend. Every 5 years to coincide with its fifth anniversary its held in England. This year its being hosted by the Anglian Mini Club and being held at Norfolk County Showground.
People arrive on Friday and mainly camp on site. During the day they will wonder round the trade stands buying bits for their Mini’s, seeing what's new and sometimes repairing there car after its long journey. That night they gather in the main Hall where they can relax, enjoy the Disco, meet old friends and drink and dance.
On Saturday people wonder around the trade stands, take part in perhaps the auto test or the club games. Get ideas from other cars what they want to do to theirs. On the Saturday afternoon 1 representative from each club will attend the presidents meeting and discuss what's happening in the mini scene. They will also decide where the I.M.M. will be held in 2006. Representatives from the Salou Mini Owners Club will discus the plans they have made for 2005 when it is being held in Salou, Spain.
The Saturday night is the main party night. When everyone has eaten a representative from each Mini Club brings the host club a present. Normally the presents are later distributed among the host club’s helpers or members but the Anglian Mini Club has asked for toys, which can later be given to Children's Charities in East Anglia. Also all proceeds from the event are being donated to the Following charities which have been suggested by our club members.
Ipswich Neonatal Unit
East Anglia Children's Hospices
Thurrock Sea Cadets
Essex Air Ambulance.
When all the formalities are over it time to PARTY!!!. Three bands have been booked for the Saturday night and we also have a bar extension. Traders are welcome to join us for the evening meal (at a small extra charge £15 per head) and the free entertainment if they wish to do so.
Sunday after a continental breakfast (included in the above price) is again time to relax, see or join in the show and shine, buy a raffle ticket for Miss Anglia (a car specially rebuilt and sprayed for the event), and participate in club games. There will be a Disco Sunday Night when the Raffle will be drawn and prizes awarded for the show and shine.
Monday it will be time to pack up and go home or for our European visitors maybe some
Sight seeing.
We hope to have between 4 & 5 thousand people attend and have already had many clubs and traders register. Most I.M.M.’s are only open to clubs but this year it is also open to individuals.
Although it may not be the largest mini show, it will have Mini lovers from the following
countries attend: Finland, Poland, France, Belgium, Italy, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Spain and we have even had a request from Canada!
For Mini Owners it’s a chance to meet old friends, make new ones see what's new and enjoy the party.
For Traders it’s the opportunity to widen your market and sell your goods to our European Mini Friends.
