...and on top of all of that: incorrectly calculated.

Assuming a fully charged 40Ah Battery it would take 2,7 Days to reduce it's capacity to 50%. Even that should be enough to start the engine at least once or twice.

Help: 50% of 40Ah = 20Ah
20Ah / 0,3A = 66,67h
66,67h = 2,78 Days

If your car won't start after 3 days, either your battery is almost dead or the current drawn is grater than 0,3 Ampere.
But... humm,... Is it correct that electrons take the other way round the circuit in the UK?
